I have a 2008 Jaguar XJ Soveriegn and was recommended by a friend, to get an updated Navigation disc. I cursed his name when it arrived the next working day and I put the disc in! I read comments about leaving time etc. for it to install but when I inserted it all my front panel control went dead! No heater, radio, and other controls surrounding the nav screen worked.

I must admit to being a little upset when I then put the old disc back in, and the front panel controls still didn't work.

However, it was all my fault. After contacting David he advised me to try again but wait because the installation needed time.

I wasn't convinced since there were now faults not involving the nav system. I left the car running and went inside. When I returned some 10 minutes later everything was working again! Brilliant. My Advice, don't panic and leave it alone. It will return....or it did for me. Thanks David.

I received the disc, well packaged and super quick. I had heard that this disc (S Type Jag) could take a while to load. Nothing of the sort, it must have taken 5 minutes tops.

The disc arrived within 2 days. Loaded it straight into the DVD player in the boot of my 2007 S-Type and waited for 3 - 4 minutes. It worked perfectly. Had to change the country from Belgium to the UK. Excellent service.

This disc was a great help. Loaded in under 3 minutes. Arrived the day after I ordered it. Excellent service. It replaced my old 2003/4 disc as I travelled to the Republic Of Ireland & the old disc didn't know any of the new motorway's that they had updated. Kept getting lost ended up using my google maps on my iPhone 6 worked wonders.

Thankfully now I have all the new updates & routes when I need to travel.

If the screen message is 'the disc inserted is not a MAP DVD' the

answer is to open the Jaguar Forum link you sent me a couple of days

ago and follow the instructions to remove the drive unit and adjust its

inner settings to encourage the unit to read the DVD. The Forum

guidance and the associated photographs are very clear.

Received the disc today and took me all of five minutes to sort all you have to do is be patient while it updates the firmware and as soon as the jaguar appears the maps have changed then just change it to the UK done.

I got the DVD day after I ordered this it. I must say it worked a treat and only took about 3 minutes to load in my X type. I don't think you will get it cheaper anywhere else. Would use these people again :)
